This new, large portative, in the tradition of late gothic instruments, offers a vast range of tones in the lower Altus register.

Wide, fully chromatic range of tones of 2 1/2 octaves; powerful-dynamic sound, made for smooth or/and expressive play and fascinating sound effects. 

All the above features with minimal weight and high mechanical stability at the same time.

The decorated and engraved frame is made of beautiful, robust cherry wood; oiled, slightly varnished upon request.  If desired, available in the attractive ‘flamed maple’ or other types of wood.

Metal pipes are made of a tin/lead alloy.  Powerful, rich and superior principal sound. Tuning sleeves made of parchment; other materials upon request.

Wooden pipes available upon request.

Pitch: a=440Hz, or 466Hz for example (or as desired; for more information please email me)

The keys (either a piano-type or a button-type keyboard is available) are made of selected fruit-tree wood and maple.

As a special feature for a wide range of tones and flexibility and at the same time a compact instrument, the following tones can be re-tuned by means of detachable sleeves (optional):
Key g0: tones f or f sharp.
Key g0 sharp: Tone g

For a quick and easy transposition, e.g. 440 Hz - 466 Hz, you can get a "transposing keyboard" as an option.

The large bellows is made of white sheepskin/cherry wood
New: if desired, with mechanism to quickly release the air from the bellows.
